The Veydra 25mm T2.2 Mini Prime is a cine lens specifically designed for Sony E-Mount cameras, featuring an imperial (feet) focus scale and capable of covering formats up to APS-C/Super 35. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, it incorporates optical glass elements with multi-coating to ensure color consistency with other lenses in the Veydra Mini Prime series.
This lens is tailored for cinema acquisition, offering a 300° barrel rotation and a constant volume focus design (internal focus), which prevents the front of the lens from extending during focus adjustments. This design enhances compatibility with rod-mounted accessories, such as matte boxes. Additionally, it features 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears for seamless integration with standard lens accessories, while the bright yellow dual focus scales facilitate easy reading from either side. A 77mm filter thread is also included, allowing for the direct attachment of optional filters to the front of the lens.
